Before first use
Inspect the scrubber for shipping damage and rinse it thoroughly with warm water. Hand-wash and allow it to dry completely before storage. Do not use the product if the mesh is open, a ring is loose, or the silicone core is exposed or damaged.
Cleaning cast iron
- Allow the cookware to cool to a safe handling temperature; never clean a dangerously hot pan.
- Add warm water and use light, controlled pressure to loosen cooked-on food.
- Move the scrubber across the residue rather than grinding aggressively into one spot.
- Rinse the cookware and scrubber thoroughly. Follow the cookware maker's guidance for soap and seasoning.
- Dry cast iron promptly and apply a very light seasoning coat when your cookware routine calls for it.
Cleaning the scrubber
Rinse trapped food from the steel mesh after each use. Hand-wash with warm water and, when needed, a small amount of mild dish soap. Rinse well, shake off excess water, and hang or place the scrubber where air can circulate through the mesh and core.

Surface compatibility
This scrubber is intended for durable, uncoated cast iron. Do not assume it is suitable for enamel, nonstick coatings, polished finishes, glass, or other delicate surfaces. Follow the cookware manufacturer's instructions and test gently in an inconspicuous area if compatibility is uncertain.
Storage and replacement
Store the scrubber dry and away from direct heat. Inspect it regularly. Stop using and replace it if the stainless-steel mesh separates, develops sharp projections, or no longer encloses the silicone core securely. Keep it away from children when not in use.
